Essentials of Reporting and analytics

End-User Edition

This series introduces end-users to Reporting and Analytics. It covers generating basic reports, including how to find, format, run, save, and export reports.

Report Author Edition

Report authors can complete this track, which introduces the application and covers basic report author tasks, including how to create custom reports within the application.

Included are five self-paced e-learning courses: Product Orientation, Running Reports, Scheduling Reports, setting up Dashboards and Working with the Ad Hoc Editor.

Administrator Edition

Report administrators can prepare for their role with this series. It introduces Advanced Reporting and covers basic administrator tasks, including how to secure reporting objects and protective sensitive information.

This curriculum includes six e-learning courses including: Product Orientation, Running Reports, Scheduling Reports, setting up Dashboards, working with the AdHoc Editor and Security.

NOTE: Administrators who will also assume responsibility for creating custom domains (datasets) in Advanced Reporting should register for the Domain Creators Series.

Domain Creator Edition

Effective Domain Creators must understand all elements of Advanced Reporting.  This series introduces the application and covers basic and advanced administrator tasks, including custom domain creation.

AR Working with Ad Hoc Editor

Explore and analyze your data with the Ad Hoc Editor - the interactive designer for creating and editing Ad Hoc views and reports. Learn how to create an Ad Hoc view with the Data Chooser Wizard. Explore the Ad Hoc Editor user interface. Learn how to add fields and measures, create views, and limit view data with filters.

AR Security
With Reporting & Analytics, you define the capabilities your users have. In this course, you will learn about the three primary security roles in the product and then how to secure folders and objects by these roles. From there, we describe how Reporting & Analytics restricts access to report data.
